Answer

A1. The water supply pressure to the boiler is too high. This is common at night, when water pressure increase. This can be easily resolved by fitting a pressure reducing valve. Click here to purchase online from www.ithouk.co.uk

A2. Handle faulty. Fill in Warranty form, attaching proof of purchase. If out of warranty, purchase replacement from www.ithouk.co.uk

A3. Reset Itho tank by pushing reset button at rear of tank. If tank has no reset button (pre 2012 manufacture), it will require to be replaced. Fill in warranty form attaching proof of purchase, or purchase repalcement tank from www.ithouk.co.uk

A4. This is normal. As your Itho tap stores water at 110 degrees, it is normal for steam and water to dispense, exactly the same as a kettle would.

A5. Check mains water supply. If normal, system may have limescale build-up. Descale tap and change filter. Repalcement filter kits can be purchased online from www.ithouk.co.uk

A6. Check all connections and tighten accordingly.

A7. This is caused by air in the mains water supply. This can happen in any area where the water supply is being worked on, even large distances away. This can be alleviated by using the cold supply first to remove any air from system before using the boiling valve.
