THE COMPANY
Itho Daalderop develops, manufactures and sells heating, hot water, ventilation and control technology solutions. Our mission is to provide innovative products and systems that contribute to a comfortable, healthy and energy efficient indoor climate. Every day we strive to make the indoor environment a more enjoyable place for people to work and live.
On January 1, 2011 Itho Daalderop arose from a collaboration between two established names in the Dutch installation market: Itho and Daalderop. Itho (founded 1919) is a well-known and much sought after supplier of ventilation systems, heating and hot water equipment. Daalderop (founded 1880) is a premium supplier of innovative water heaters and boilers.
Innovation is at the core of Itho Daalderop. Both Itho and Daalderop have multiple nominations for the VSK Awards (innovation award for the installation market) to their credit. Itho Daalderop has recently won its latest VSK Award for the Flat Energy Cube. All of the company’s products are developed and manufactured in-house.
Itho Daalderop has 3 locations in the Netherlands: Schiedam, Tiel and Etten-Leur. In recent years we gained considerable market share in Europe and we have a branch in England (Burton on Trent) and also in Belgium (Sint-Niklaas). In total there are approximately 350 persons employed by the company
INNOVATION
Our vision, focused on sustainability and comfort in the home, drives us to constant innovation. These innovations are represented in our new products and breakthrough concepts, but can also be seen in improvements to our existing range.
We are proud of the fact that we have been nominated ten times for the VSK Award (the prize for innovation is awarded at the exhibition for the installation trade) and we have won five times.
INNOVATIONS OVER THE PAST DECADE
2003
Itho introduces the first shower heat recovery unit of its kind, the DWTW.
2002
Daalderop Multi Solar, a solar combi-boiler, received a nomination for a VSK Award. The Itho HR-hood wins a VSK Award.
2005
The new Boost boiler from Itho wins the Materials design award.
2004
The Itho CVE, a central air extraction system, and the Itho Energy House were nominated for the VSK Award.
2006
Itho wins a VSK Award with its Energy House. The Daalderop CombinAir, a hybrid air / water heater wins the VSK Audience Award – an award voted for by members of the general public.
2007
Daalderop introduces the Plinth boiler, a smart development of the Closed-in kitchen boiler.
2009
Itho introduces a new generation of energy efficient heat pumps.
Daalderop introduces a built-in hot water boiler, the Close-in Boily.
2008
DemandFlow from Itho, a fully automatic demand-driven ventilation system, wins a VSK Award. The successor to the CombinAir, the CombinAir Cool, is nominated for a VSK Award.
2010
Daalderop introduces the 3-in-1 tap for hot, cold and boiling water.
2011
Itho Daalderop is formed and offers a complete range of product categories in the air, water, heating and control technology.
Itho Daalderop receives two nominations for the VSK Award. QualityFlow receives a nomination in the category for Air, with its revolutionary air distribution system for residential ventilation. In the category Earth (for measuring and control technology) the Flat Energy Cube is nominated.
2012
Flat Energy Cube (a prefab installation module that can improve the energy ratings of a house with a heat pump, boilers and other components, thus delivering a more comfortable and healthy living environment) wins the 2012 VSK Award in the category Earth.
